How to get started.
New life groups are being created here at HP.
All Life Group leaders are asked to understand the criteria in being a life
group leader.
If you are interested in leading a life group,

Leadership Information
- I acknowledge the lordship of Jesus Christ
in my life and commit to have a personal relationship with Him that is
foundational to everything I am and do. I am an active member of HP.
- I understand that my role as a leader in the
church will give me greater influence with those in my class. With greater
influence comes greater responsibility. I commit to live by biblical
standards.
"Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know
that we who teach will be judged more strictly." James 3:1
- I understand that a Life Group is
"Fellowship around the Word of God". Our goal is to reach people for Jesus
Christ and through relationships develop them into His fully devoted
followers. This includes Bible Study, Fellowship, Evangelism, and Caring for
the needs of those in the class.
"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be
evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people
for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we
all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and
become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."
Ephesians 4:11-13
- I commit to be active in the life of the
church and do my best to pray & engage in their lives often.
- I commit (1) to be on time and to be well
prepared to lead my class, and (2) to be present no less than 75% of the
time.
- I commit to attend regularly scheduled
leadership meetings and to teach material that has been approved by the
church leadership.
