Our Story
God is working in a mighty way at Highland Park!

THEN Our previous Pastor had the God-given desire for reaching unbelievers came under His leadership. In order to be the most effective, he began to seek God on changing the way the church had previously ministered and felt led to create and strategize relevant ways to attract unbelievers. One of the many changes came in the form of building and renovating. The greatest change, however, came in changing the method in which to present the gospel of Christ while remaining true to the message of Christ. This decision affected and infected every detail of ministry for HP.

NOW The Lord began to bless HP’s step of faith in significant ways.  Creating strategic methods in which to draw people to hear the message of Christ became the heartbeat of HP and we have been growing ever since. We now have the privilege of impacting hundreds of lives on a weekly basis and reaching more every week.

We thank God for placing in us a deep desire to go for it and to see as many people as possible come to know the Lord. And though we have seen God move in incredible ways in our past, we have a sense that this is only the beginning. Our future looks even brighter.

FUTURE
The temptation for many churches at this point is to begin to play it safe and protect what's been gained. But it only takes a moment to look at what is happening around us to realize that our work is just beginning. In His sovereignty, God planted HP right where it is - knowing that one day hundreds of lives would be impacted. What an exciting assignment it is and will continue to be as we reach and minister to more families. The sky's the limit if we are willing. How much do you want?
